Maven Inc. is looking for Senior Software Engineers to work in Leesburg, VA and various unanticipated locations throughout the US.

Minimum requirements

Education: Must possess a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.

Experience: Must possess a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or 4 years experience in the position offered or a related position.

Special Skills

Aforementioned 4 years of experience must include at least 12 months experience in the use of the following skills:

.Net, Pega PRPC, SQL, XML, JSP, JavaScript and HTML. Web services, WSDL, SOAP, REST, JSON, Oracle, DB2, Tomcat, BEA Web Logic, WebSphere and DBVisualiser.

Job Duties:

Analyzing and designing the business system and involved in all phases of the project life cycle. Involving in n-tier architecture (Presentation, Business logic and Data access layers). Involving in designing UI prototypes, UML models and Use cases. Designing and developing Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Rules. Engine (BRE) Applications using Pega Systems Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC), Java, SQL, XML, JSP, JavaScript and HTML. Working on Customization of pega UI and Logic using the Java and JavaScript coding. Involving in migrating existing Pega application to latest version of PRPC platform. Troubleshooting and communicating with Pega Support team in order to resolve technical issues which require hot fix from Pega systems. Involved in internal product testing and analyzing the defects and fixing them. Creating test plans if required. Designing of flows and development of the various use cases involved. Reviewing the performance of Application using the PRPC-PAL to suggest ways to optimize Performance. Use of .Net, Pega PRPC, SQL, XML, JSP, JavaScript and HTML. Web services, WSDL, SOAP, REST, JSON, Oracle, DB2, Tomcat, BEA Web Logic, WebSphere and DBVisualiser. Position may require travel.

Referral Program

Maven Inc Employee Referral Program

Purpose:

The Employee Referral Bonus Program was developed to award the recruitment efforts of all full time employees of the organization. Effective 01/01/2019 , any employees who successfully refer an applicant for a vacant position posted will receive $2000 as incentive.

Program Details:

Referring Employee:
The referring employee must be employed by Maven Inc at the time of hire of the referred candidate
If you are directly responsible or on the hierarchy chain for the applicant’s position, you are not eligible for the program
You must be Maven Inc employee at the time payouts are given
You may refer as many applicants as desired

Applicant:

Applicants cannot have been employed by Maven Inc in the last 24 months in full time or temporary position.
Applicants must indicate a referral source of "Employee" and indicate the referring employee's name on the application form for the job they are hired into.
Only one name may be identified for each applicant. If two names are listed, the first name is used. If that person is not still employed, the second name is used.

Payouts:

All bonus payouts are subject to taxation.
Bonus payouts will be paid to the employee within three pay periods after hiring of the applicant.

Selection Procedure:

The employment application will be reviewed through the normal hiring procedures. If the applicant meets the specified qualifications for the position, the application will be forwarded to the hiring process. All information regarding the reason(s) for making a decision not to hire an applicant will remain strictly confidential. Applicants must successfully complete all aspects of the pre-employment process.
